Gin is a base of several cocktails. The ''Long Drink'' original is created from gin and has endured through the ages. Many gin cocktails will usually contain lime and sugar. Those two ingredients provide the balance depending on one's palate. This article will cover four cocktails with gin. Watch the video to see how to make the drinks.
25ml sweet vermouth
1 strip orange zest
We made the rum version of Negroni. The difference is that here we use gin instead of rum. In both instances, the flavors of Campari are most noticeable. Throw in all ingredients over ice and stir. The Campari bitterness comes through the drink. You can make the drink sweeter by adding vermouth and reducing Campari; the opposite is true.
The glass of Martini below may look empty but it is not ;). Look carefully and you will see the drink and the olive. The glass was frozen prior to making the drink thereby becoming a little opaque.
30 ml gin
10 ml Vermouth dry
Pour the ingredients into a glass filled with ice and stir vigorously to chill then and pour to a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with olives.

40 ml gin
20 ml lime cordial
Shaken, short/cocktail glass
I recommend that you make your own lime cordial. You can find the homemade lime cordial recipe here. You can make it in advance and store it for future use.
FLORADORA COCKTAIL (remixed)
40 ml gin
15 ml lime juice
25 ml Raspberry juice (Vadelma mehu)
25 ml ginger ale (inkivääriolut)
The original version of this cocktail comes with raspberry liquor but we eliminated it and instead put raspberry juice. Adjust the amount of ginger ale depending on how strong your ginger ale is.
